TCGSMUN VI

Dear Delegates and Faculty Advisors,

 

   It is with greatest pleasure that I cordially invite you to join us for TCGS Model United Nations Conference VI (TCGS MUN VI) in Taichung World Trade Center from Saturday, June 2 to Sunday, June 3! Since 2011, TCGS Model United Nations has brought together high school students from across Taiwan to discuss the most pressing challenges facing our world and to work together to develop solutions to these issues. At our previous conferences, delegations in attendance usually hailed from over 100, and for years, we never stop to expand our scope and vision while at the same time striving to maintain the quality performance that we regard a great conference should render delegates.                

 

     There are several factors that separate TCGS MUN from many other MUN conferences. For one, TCGS MUN is a highly interactive and innovative conference designed to provide the most valuable MUN experience for both beginners and advanced delegates to enhance diplomacy and negotiation skills. And as a matter of fact, it is hard to find such a conference as TCGS MUN that would adopt different Model UN procedures within respective committees. TCGS MUN not only allows but actively encourages delegates to take the given opportunity to properly acquaint themselves with any dynamic and engaging style of debate. In the past TCGS MUN conferences, rules of procedure established and followed are THIMUN and North American. This year, apart from THIMUN procedure, we also bring you UN4MUN procedure in our special committee, UN WOMEN.

 

   Our conference has long enjoyed enthusiastic support as it has grown, and each year even with the on-going barriers and enormous obstacles that we have to break down to pull it off, we still manage to offer a Model UN-enriched education for those who are looking for a serious conference that is both beneficial and able to yield a pathway to experience all that Model UN has to offer. This year, we also very much look forward to your participation to make the most intellectually stimulating and enjoyable conference that we know TCGS MUN VI will be.
